I'm thrilled to announce that my new music video for "Booty Bass" was just released Friday (8.17.18). It has been on Spotify for about 6 months now. It took a long time and a lot of hard work with great, hard working people to get it done but I'm very relieved to to know that all of the hard work paid off.
I first had the inception at the end of the summer of 2016 right before the Cubs won the World Series. I had the resources and remembered how fun it was making a rap album with my friends in 2007 so I started work with the very talented recording engineer Zak Fox Jablow the Professor. It took a year of scrounging around what time I could during film school to be able to get in to the recording studio. But I made it happen as well as finding the right people to help carry me through the entire pre-production, production and post-production process. Producers Joe Hu and Ethan Zhong were in my corner the whole time and really made things work smoothly for me. I'm grateful I was able to see this whole thing through. Hope you enjoy the video! My fault and laziness in updates but I have been quite busy! I just finished my Master's in Cinema Production (Directing Concentration) at DePaul University in Chicago and have re-located to Los Angeles!!! I played numerous characters in several different short films where I also had the opportunity to bring to life my own short film titled; "Tin Man." It follows the lives of one loving couple's relationship coming to an end in an emotionally raw unguarded altercation. Love and hate drive them together and apart for better or worse. They recall the moment they first shared love only to ask themselves, "what went wrong?" The teaser was just released yesterday and the short should be following behind with in the next couple months!

Good things are coming! First up is a new staged musical reading. The Solstice Ball tells the love story of Count Dracula and the gypsy, Mirela, long before other more well known events of his life. Set in Transylvania at Bran Castle in 1847, it is a tale of want and peril at a time when revolution looms to free the gypsy slaves. Dracula yearns for love while Mirela longs for freedom and she is drawn to the Count when fate brings them together. But she is a slave owned by Beau Blair, a possessive Texan selling Colt revolvers to the noblemen and the Count is desired by Carmilla, a vampire of Bran Castle. Nobles, servants, gypsies and vampires, all with a stake in what transpires, await fate as the fortune teller warns of danger lurking at the Solstice Ball. Thursday, December 11th 2014 7:30PM is the performance at the Royal George Theatre at 1641 N. Halsted (North/Clybourn Red Line). Purchase tickets from Ticketmaster.com. or call 312.988.9000

In the summer of 2007 I recorded a rap/hip hop album with a group of friends out of my home town of Crown Point, IN. There were several other hits recorded with tracks laid down to make a unique experience resembling that of The Lonely Island Boys after the album was completed. I am pleased to announce that "Rico Parks Department" will be teaming up with Outsider Visions to film a music video to one of the hilarious songs that we created. Dates of production are set for early April 2014. "The Ode to your feelin' can't even compare, now just lean and point and tell me where!"
Based on the Greek myth The Flight of Icarus,FLIGHT follows Daedalus, his wife Aeden, and their son Icarus (played by yours truly Iah Kinley) as they learn that to truly live and love comes with great risk.
